It is quite typical that on a long conference call some people will have to leave before the end. It is also common that people may be called into a conference that is in progress, to clarify some point or help with a key decision. Personalising my Conference Room Once you have set-up a dedicated conference room, you can record a welcome announcement that will be heard by all participants as they enter a conference. This can simply be your name or that of your department, or company. This makes the user experience for your invited participants friendlier, giving them added confidence that they are in the right place. Recording a Conference Call Call recording is an option that you can select at the beginning of any conference call by pressing 3. This is a particularly useful feature where the subject of the conference call is of a sensitive nature, and requires a full account of everyones input. The recording will then be sent to the room holder as a wav file for reference and storage.
